Manchester United have announced that the young goalkeeper Kieran O’Hara has left Old Trafford, and joined Morecambe on a one-month loan deal. The shot-stopper has joined Sam Johnstone, Dean Henderson and a few others in leaving United on short-term deals.
O’Hara is at that stage in his career where he needs regular first-team football to develop, and that can only benefit him and Manchester United in the long-term, as he gains that vital playing experience.
When he returns he’ll still have a huge task on his hand however, wth the likes of Sam Johnstone, Sergio Romero and David de Gea all in front of him in the pecking order at this point in time.
He now has to work hard, earn his place in the Morecambe side, and show Louis van Gaal just exactly what he has to offer upon his return.
