Manchester United jet off for the start of their pre-season tour tomorrow, with the Red Devils playing a whole host of high-profile games in the USA and across Europe. As we’re patiently awaited the news of the travelling bunch, we’ve been given an early update.
It comes from Andreas Pereira, who according to the Manchester Evening News, has confirmed his inclusion in the squad via a post on social media as you can see below.
Check out Pereira’s Snapchat post here:
The attacking midfielder spent last year on loan with Granada in La Liga where he thoroughly impressed, and now Jose Mourinho seems keen to get a better look at the insanely talented Brazilian.
Now 21, he’ll be coming back to United with much more experience under his belt which will, in turn, bring that added maturity to his game. With Wayne Rooney looking like departing, that number ten role in behind the striker is definitely up for grabs. Rather than spending money to bring someone in, we could have the correct guy already in our grasp.
It is now down to Pereira to make sure he takes this opportunity with both hands. Jose loves hard workers and players who can create chances single-handedly, so the player will know exactly what he has to do to succeed in the USA.
