Manchester United take on Real Madrid in the UEFA Super Cup on Tuesday evening. A game that pits the winners of the Champions League against the winners of the Europa League, and Jose Mourinho has named a strong 22-man squad for the clash.
The early squad news, as per usual, comes from the Manchester Evening News, with the first-team regulars like David de Gea, Paul Pogba and Ander Herrera all included.
There is also places in the team for all three of our new signings; Victor Lindelof, Romelu Lukaku and Nemanja Matic, although yesterday, Mourinho hinted that Matic may not be fully fit to play.
It’s nice to see the self-proclaimed Special One stick with the youngsters that served him so well whilst on pre-season tour, with the likes of Axel Tuanzebe, Joel Pereira, Scott McTominay and Andreas Pereira all involved in Macedonia.
