Manchester United play their biggest game of the season on Saturday; taking on Chelsea in the FA Cup final.
Jose Mourinho’s preparations will be well underway at this stage, with the Red Devils eyeing an excellent end to what has been a solid season for United.
Before that, the Manchester Evening News have been doing some digging. They’ve captured Manchester United’s 24-man squad that headed down to Wembley for the showpiece, and it certainly bodes well.
Included were regulars like David de Gea, Paul Pogba and Alexis Sanchez. There is also a spot for Luke Shaw and Scott McTominay; both of whom have made late pushes for an inclusion in Mourinho’s final starting line-up of the season.
Perhaps the best news is the fact that Romelu Lukaku was pictured amongst the group. The 25-year-old striker has missed the last few games with an injury, but we were led to believe that he’d be back fit and available following a return to training on Tuesday.
Manchester United’s 24-man squad confirmed members:
David de Gea, Sergio Romero, Joel Pereira, Matteo Darmian, Antonio Valencia, Eric Bailly, Victor Lindelof, Phil Jones, Chris Smalling, Marcos Rojo, Daley Blind, Luke Shaw, Ashley Young, Ander Herrera, Scott McTominay, Marouane Fellaini, Nemanja Matic, Paul Pogba, Juan Mata, Jesse Lingard, Alexis Sanchez, Romelu Lukaku, Anthony Martial, Marcus Rashford.
