Facundo Pellistri has been pictured at Carrington for the first time, as he looks to settle into his new surroundings.
Facundo Pellistri was the surprise deadline day signing for the Old Trafford club and certainly the least known addition. However, after being handed the number twenty-eight jersey, it signals that the winger may well have a first-team future quicker than we all thought.
He does come into the club as a relative unknown, though, and he’s certainly a gamble who’ll need time to fully adapt and adjust to his surroundings. What better place to do that than the home of developing youth, huh?
Anyway, the young man has been snapped at Manchester United’s training ground for the first time, all-smiles, donning club gear. Thanks to the official @ManUtd Twitter account for the photos.

The good news for Pellistri is that he’s joining the club at a time where there’s a real lack of wide-depth within the squad. Given a month or so to adjust and adapt to life in his new surroundings and we could be looking at someone who we could see an awful lot of this term.
Provided he has the right attitude, is willing to learn and work, we could have another absolute gem on our hands. Who are we to doubt Ole Gunnar Solskjaer? A manager who has been more than willing to give youth a real crack at the whip.
I, for one, am excited to see how Pellistri gets on. I just hope that the fans remain patient with him. Our supporters have developed a reputation of being quick to turn on slow-starters. Let’s not hound another one out before they’ve even been given a proper chance, hey?
