Former Manchester United striker sticks the knife in with another huge goal

Manchester United Football Club allowed Javier Hernandez to leave Old Trafford over the summer, much to the annoyance of the majority of the fans. The Mexican was always a favourite amongst the crowd, and now he is doing the business out in Germany for Bayer Leverkusen.

He cost the side just £7million, and has made a massive impact since his arrival. He has played in nineteen games across all competitions scoring a hugely impressive fourteen goals.

Perhaps his most meaningful goal came last night, as he struck against FC Barcelona, probably the best club side in the world.

It certainly is painful to see him playing this well. He’s still only 27, and it feels as though Louis van Gaal never give him a real chance to prove his worth. In his first season he loaned him out to Real Madrid, and obviously sold him this summer…
