From Sky: Manchester United star subject to £18million bid from fellow Premier League club

Manchester United have been on a good run of form recently, and it feels as though Jose Mourinho’s side is finally playing somewhere close to their full capabilities. One man who hasn’t been featuring all that much recently is Frenchman Morgan Schneiderlin.

Now, the usually reliable Sky Sources have given us an update on his potential future, and state that Tony Pulis’ West Brom side have offered a nice £18million to take the Frenchman off our hands when the January transfer window opens.

The 27-year-old Frenchman has fallen massively down the pecking order at Manchester United, and it seems a rare occurrence that he now makes a match day squad, never mind the starting XI.

Having joined from Southampton in 2014, Schneiderlin hasn’t really taken the chances that he has had and it has been a real shame to witness. He is a great player, capable of protecting the back four pretty much single-handedly, but maybe the daunting task of playing for one of the biggest clubs in the world has proven to be too much for him.

He’s a player that will make it elsewhere, be it West Brom or somewhere different. He’s just too good to let this define his career.
