The future of Zeki Fryers had been up in the air for quite some time, however many reliable sources including Sky Sports are reporting that the 19-year old, who made 6 first team appearances this season is set to sign for Tottenham Hotspur.
We will be due a compensation package for the youngster but if the two clubs can’t agree on a fee then it could be left to a tribunal to decide. Fryers was out of contract this summer and earlier this week Sir Alex seemed unsure on his future as a United player.
“We haven’t heard anything from Zeki Fryers, I don’t know what’s happening there but he’s not been in touch with the club. His agent hasn’t been in touch with the club and I can only assume he’ll be back for training”
His versatility is believed to be one of the key factors in Spurs’ decision to buy him, the move is set to be finalised in the next few days with Zeki agreeing to terms on a four-year contract, earning £20,000 a week.
