Manchester United Football Club have been playing brilliantly to start off their season, with Jose Mourinho’s men winning three out of three. Obviously, tougher tasks are still to come, and next up is the derby against our fiercest of rivals in Manchester City.
We’ve a few injury concerns ahead of that game, and perhaps the biggest problem of the lot is Henrikh Mkhitaryan. The talented Armenian has been nursing an injury which he picked up whilst on international duty, and today, he has given us an update but he doesn’t sound confident.
Check out Henrikh Mkhitaryan’s tweet here:
Not sure yet if I’ll bit fit for the derby, but I’m motivated as ever to put all energy to be in great shape asap!! pic.twitter.com/n3QcXpv1k6

It would be a real killer blow if he missed the match. He hasn’t had a chance to start yet, and you feel based on the twenty minute cameo he shown us away at Hull City, he looked a shoe-in to get his first start from the off here.
Who knows, he may make it, but at this point in time it doesn’t look like he’ll be ready to play for ninety minutes in a gruelling match.
