Manchester United Football Club takes on Liverpool at the weekend, with Jose Mourinho’s men looking to close the gap on Klopp’s side to just two points. Before that, December’s monthly awards were handed out by the Premier League, with Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Henrikh Mkhitaryan winning awards.
There are no guesses as to why our Armenian won his, as he scooped December’s Goal of the Month competition thanks to that truly brilliant ‘scorpion kick’ that he scored against Sunderland.
More praise was heaped on the 27-year-old shortly after he was handed his trophy, as he dedicated it to young Bradley Lowery, a five-year-old who is battling neuroblastoma which is a form of cancer.
Mkhitaryan posted the below photo on his Twitter account, along with a heart-melting message to the young Sunderland supporter.

Stuff like this just further endears you to the man who joined Manchester United from Borussia Dortmund over the summer. He’s not just a supremely talented footballer, but obviously a rather nice guy too.
