Manchester United fans have been left rather puzzled at Henrikh Mkhitaryan’s current situation at the club. Despite the fact that the Armenian is back and fit, he hasn’t been included in a match-day squad since after the international break which is a huge concern.
The 27-year-old is obviously a world class attacker, but it has been two months since we’ve seen him on the pitch now, and his confidence must be on the floor at this point in time.
He cost the club £27million over the summer and massive things were expected of him, and although we’ve seen glimpses of his talents, it has been a real shame to see him struggle this badly.
Jose Mourinho has to show some faith in the right-winger, and hopefully, he’ll get his chance in the Champions League this coming Thursday night away at Fenerbahce.
Before then, though, he has taken to social media for the first time in a few weeks, and spoken about the situation that happened at the weekend as United played out a 0-0 draw with Burnley.
It’s nice to see him remaining positive, before adding that ‘better days will come’…
