Huge news: Manchester United dealt big boost ahead of derby

Manchester United have been given an early injury boost ahead of the Manchester derby which takes place towards the end of this month. Sergio Aguero suffered a hamstring problem whilst on international duty, and is expected to be out for at least a month.

The striker was in sensational form during his last Premier League game, as he scored five goals to bury a struggling Newcastle side led by the former United assistant Steve McLaren.

This is massive news for Manchester United. A player of his calibre was always going to pose a threat to our makeshift defence, and now it looks as though Wilfried Bony will lead the line in the derby – a significant downgrade from Sergio Aguero.

There is some more injury news too, as David Silva limped off during their game last night, but we’re not quite sure how serious his injury is at this point in time.
