Manchester United striker Romelu Lukaku will miss the Red Devils’ game against Brighton on Friday night.
There is some good news though, with Jose Mourinho confirming that the 24-year-old is in with a chance to play in the FA Cup final against Chelsea.
The forward picked up the injury during United’s 2-1 victory at home to Arsenal on Sunday, and the club were left sweating in regards to whether he’d be able to take part in the Wembley showpiece. Thankfully, it looks as though we’ll have our 27-goal man back; and we’re going to need him.

It would have been a huge stroke of misfortune if Lukaku would have missed the FA Cup final. He’s been our biggest goal outlet all season long, and if any outfield player deserves his big day out, it’s him.
Anyway, back towards the mater-at-hand; Brighton will provide a stern test on Friday evening, but it presents an opportunity for someone to come into the side and show Mourinho what they can do.
For me, it’ll likely be Marcus Rashford starting through the middle, but I cannot help but feel Anthony Martial deserves his chance to prove his worth, particularly after an impressive cameo against Arsenal.
