I don’t think it can be argued that Paul Pogba has been the best player at the club since Ole Gunnar Solskjaer took charge at Manchester United.
The midfield maestro has been nothing short of sensational, scoring, creating and leading his team to a succession of huge wins.
However, he missed the Red Devils’ cup game against Reading as he was nursing an injury that he suffered when playing Newcastle United, after a horror challenge was committed on him from Jonjo Shelvey.
That led to Pogba being left at home as the team headed for Dubai to take part in some warm weather training on Saturday. Now, though, according to the Manchester Evening News, United’s key man has jetted out to meet his teammates to take part in training; which leads me to believe that he’s now in contention to play against Tottenham Hotspur next weekend.
If we’re to stand any chance against Mauricio Pochettino’s high-flying Lilywhites, Pogba is going to have to put in another brilliant display. Thankfully, he’s got the best part of a week to get himself back to full fitness, and I’m expecting him to have an absolute blinder at Wembley Stadium on Sunday.
