Injury News: Manchester United pair set to miss Wolves game with problems

Manchester United have won three away matches on the spin since that horror show at home to Tottenham Hotspur.

Tomorrow, they return to Old Trafford. However, they’ll be without Ander Herrera and Marcos Rojo; who both remain sidelined. That’s according to Jose Mourinho himself, who spoke to the media before the eagerly anticipated clash.

Rojo picked up an injury during Argentina’s World Cup campaign. We haven’t seen him in action since, although he must be nearing a return at this point. The only problem is that it’ll take him a while to get up to speed as he has had absolutely no pre-season whatsoever. In that regard, he’s already at least a month behind the majority of his teammates. It’ll be hard for him to force his way back into the side when he does return.

Herrera’s problem is an odd one. The Basque-born midfielder suffered an injury in training and we’re not quite sure of a time-frame as to how long he’ll be out for.

Don’t forget that both Nemanja Matic and Marcus Rashford are suspended after their respective red cards. For Mourinho, he’s working with a much smaller squad for this one, but being at home, you’d fancy us to get the job done.
