Injury problem as Man United man returns to club following issue sustained with national team

Manchester United Football Club are on a two-week hiatus at the moment, due to the pain that is the international break. England play their first match against Germany tomorrow night, but before that match, we’ve been handed an injury blow.

The club have confirmed that Phil Jones will return to Manchester United after picking up an injury problem in training. Although the extent of the problem is yet to be known, you’d imagine it’ll keep him out of action for at least a week or so, because otherwise, he would have stuck with the Three Lions squad.

With Phil Jones, the problems have always come in the treatment room. He’s a player who’s talent and ability is undeniable, but ever since he’s been a Red Devil, there has been countless of occasions where he has missed plenty of games through niggling injuries.

Hopefully, this latest issue isn’t too serious and he’ll be fit and ready to go the next time Manchester United take to the field. It’s key for his confidence that he can get himself back on the pitch as soon as possible, because his form has been pretty good for the last few months.

It’s credit to him that he has kept working hard despite the fact that he has barely played. It says a lot about his mental attitude, and in my opinion, he’s definitely a player that Jose Mourinho likes.
