Manchester United Football Club are clearly improving under Jose Mourinho, as the players become more accustomed to his tactics and style of play. Alongside that, there will be casualties and players who don’t adapt as well as others, and the writing could well be on the wall for those guys.
According to Italian media outlet Calciomercato, one man who could be out of the Old Trafford doors in January is midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin.
The Frenchman is obviously a Premier League proven central midfielder, who came to Manchester with so much promise after massively impressing with Southampton.
Calciomercato say that Inter are ready to offer the 27-year-old midfielder a way out of Manchester, as he looks to get some playing time away from the Theatre of Dreams.
Honestly, I’m truly gutted it hasn’t quite worked out for Schneiderlin here. For so long it felt like he’d be the man who could come in and protect our back line. However, he just hasn’t lived up to the hype, and perhaps the stature and size of the task at hand was just too much for him.
A move away is definitely the best thing for everyone involved, and although it will be sad to see him leave, Manchester United must do all they can to recoup as much of the transfer fee that they paid for him.
