Inter Milan make sensational demand if they are to let Ivan Perisic join Manchester United

Manchester United seem keen on signing Ivan Perisic this summer, if reports are to be believed. However, according to Corriere dello Sport, the Serie A giants are still demanding that Anthony Martial going the other way is part of any potential deal.

As you can imagine, the Red Devils are unwilling to let Martial leave this summer as he’s one of the biggest prospects in world football right now. When you couple that with the sensational pre-season form he’s been showing, it’d be daft to let him leave.

This is a man who United paid an awful lot of money for just two years ago, and we’ve seen just how lethal he can be when he gets in the right positions. Personally, I feel this will be a big season for him.

Don’t get me wrong, I like Perisic. He’d be a fantastic addition if United could pull it off because he’d give us that extra dimension going forward. Rather than cutting in like Martial, the Croatia star likes to hug the byline and whip in fierce crosses.

With that said, I’d pick Martial every single time. It seems to me that Milan are dead set on keeping hold of their 28-year-old left-footer, hence why they are making absurd demands. To be honest, I’d do exactly the same if I were in their shoes.
