Park Set For QPR Switch?

Although it’s just gossip at the moment, a move away from Old Trafford for the South Korean could definitely be on the cards. Reports suggest that the club have accepted a bid of £5million for Park Ji-Sung has to be regarded as good business on both parts if the deal were to go through.

He’s now 31 and has been with the club for 7 seasons since his £4million move from PSV Eindhoven. Unfortunately he’s one of those players who’s work often goes unnoticed but in my eyes he will always be remembered as a great servant to the club. Fergie often liked to use him in those so called ‘big games’ and he always did a job running up and down both flanks tirelessly.

Last season Park featured 28 times in all competitions, however he seemingly lost form for the majority of the campaign. For me it’d make sense to let him go and recruit someone younger on less wages who can do just as good of a job, it’ll be sad to see him go but unfortunately, thats football.
