Manchester United managed to get back to winning ways in European competition last night, and in excellent style too. Jose Mourinho’s men stuck four past a struggling Feyenoord side, with Jesse Lingard capping things off with a brilliant finish in added time.
The English winger was a second-half substitute, as the manager looked to wrap things up and see the game out whilst allowing his regulars some well-earned rest.
However, the 23-year-old obviously wanted to make an impression to force his way back into things and he definitely managed it with a goal.
At the full-time whistle in an traditional manner, Jesse Lingard and Paul Pogba showed the world another one of their famous handshakes.

The duo were always good mates from their time in the Manchester United U21s a few years ago now, and it really is nice to see them loving life at the highest level of professional football. Long may it continue.
Paul Pogba has been a regular since his arrival, whereas Jesse Lingard has been a bit-part player, but for the most part he’s done well. It’s up to him to continue working hard and impress the gaffer enough to earn starts every weekend.
