Jesse Lingard sends heartfelt message to Paul Pogba on Twitter

Manchester United are a club that have always developed youth and tried to push them through into the first-team. Over recent years, Warren Joyce (before he left) and his coaching staff had produced some brilliant footballers – two of which include Paul Pogba and Jesse Lingard.

The pair practically grew up at the club together. They started out in the U18s where they won it all, and ever since they’ve been good friends. As we all know, over the summer, they were reunited when Jose Mourinho made the move to bring back Paul Pogba in a world record deal.

This would have obviously pleased Lingard no-end, and today marks Pogba’s 24th birthday. In true, best mate fashion, Jesse took to Twitter to post a brilliant photo collage to his pal.

Check out Lingard’s tweet here:

This is just excellent to see. I always like it when mates show a ‘bromance’ for one another on social media, and these two are a better love story than Twilight.

It is brilliant when they play together. They seem to have this telepathic connection, and that is because they’ve grown up on the football field as a pair. Long may it continue, as well!
