Jonny Evans facing huge ban after disgusting spitting incident

Manchester United could be without Jonny Evans for half of the remaining games this season, as the Northern Irishman could be banned for six games according to several reputable sources. He and Papiss Cisse were involved in a spitting incident during the game last night, and they should both be punished.

The act took place midway through the first half after the pair tangled together in a clash. Jonny Evans seemed to spit at Cisse before the Senegal striker turned around and spat back.

The talk of a six game ban is a fair punishment, there is nothing worse than spitting at a fellow professional. Its a truly horrific act that should be punished with a ban.

Papiss Cisse could end up with a seven game ban after a previous spitting incident.

Is this ban fair? Leave your thoughts in the comment box below.
