Jose Mourinho has confirmed that Paul Pogba will feature against Huddersfield Town in the FA Cup game that takes place tomorrow evening, per the official Twitter account.
The 24-year-old, who was seemingly limping in the warm-up before the Newcastle United game last weekend, then substituted off in the same fixture, has been out of form recently, but I’m delighted that Mourinho is keeping the faith in arguably United’s best player.
Huddersfield Town will provide a stern test in the fifth round of the cup, and I’d argue that this tournament is now the Red Devils’ best chance at landing silverware this season. It certainly makes sense to go as strong as possible in terms of personnel here, as don’t forget, The Terriers beat us 2-1 last time around.

Despite his poor performances recently, that doesn’t change the fact that Pogba is an outstandingly gifted player who can win the game with one swing of his right-foot. Whether he’s playing in a two-man midfield or a three-man midfield, this guy simply has to deliver the goods.
When Pogba plays well, the whole team plays well. If he puts in a 7/10 performance at the John Smiths Stadium, I’ve no doubt that we’ll be in the hat for the quarter-final draw that takes place on Monday.
