Manchester United Football Club will have to take on Huddersfield Town without Marouane Fellaini, Jose Mourinho has confirmed.
The 30-year-old was used as a second-half substitute against Tottenham Hotspur, but within six minutes of him coming on he had to be hauled off again with what looked like a knee issue. Now the manager has confirmed those fears, although we don’t know how long he’ll be out for.

Under Mourinho’s reign, Fellaini has been a key player for the Portuguese coach. The big Belgian offers us something different during particular situations and so often he’s come up with an important goal or play that swings the tide back in our favour.
This season has been an injury-hit one for the veteran who still hasn’t signed a contract extension at Old Trafford, and we’ve certainly missed his skillset during specific scenarios.
This may not be a popular opinion but I sincerely hope he puts pen to paper on a new deal here, but I wouldn’t blame him if he wanted to leave because the fans have hardly been kind to the former Everton man since his arrival.
