Jose Mourinho confirms super-talented youngster will start vs Valencia

Manchester United Football Club have already secured their place in the Champions League last sixteen, although they still have one game to play.

An away fixture against Valencia CF is never an easy clash, and no doubt the Spaniards will want to head into the Europa League on a high. With qualification already secured, it always looked like the self-proclaimed Special One was going to make changes aplenty.

According to the Daily Express, Mourinho has already confirmed that the super-talented Andreas Pereira will get his chance in this one, while also hinting that Sergio Romero will play in between the sticks.

I feel sorry for Pereira. He’s obviously a great player, but for whatever reason, he hasn’t been able to get himself out on the field. He made one mistake early on in the campaign but has barely featured since, yet Nemanja Matic makes an error almost weekly and his place in the team never looks in doubt…

Anyway, the Brazilian will get his chance against his former club, and hopefully, he takes it. His mobility, energy, vision and range of passing is far superior to that of the aforementioned Matic’s, and I’d genuinely love to see him get a good run in the team.
