Manchester United get back to the bread and butter of the Premier League tomorrow, with Jose Mourinho’s side hosting Hull City at Old Trafford. The Red Devils will certainly be out for revenge, because it was under a week ago when The Tigers beat us 2-1 at the KCOM.
Ahead of the match, the self-proclaimed Special One met the media of the world, and gave us all an update on all things about the upcoming fixture.
One question on everybody’s lips was regarding a few players who didn’t play at the weekend. Jose answered the reporters – and then went one better by confirming that three huge names will start the game.
“Of course we have some players who didn’t play the last match, Valencia, Ibra, Pogba – they will play.” The Daily Mirror quote the manager as saying.
Antonio Valencia should be very well rested, as he’s missed the last two games, so he should be fully firing come kick-off tomorrow. Both Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Pogba haven’t played since Thursday, and that’ll no doubt do them the world of good.
You’d imagine that the likes of Ander Herrera, David de Gea and Phil Jones will also come back into the mix, which gives us a much stronger looking starting eleven.
After back-to-back draws in the Premier League (Liverpool home, Stoke away), a win here is essential to start propelling us back up the table.
