Jose Mourinho was spotted at The Etihad Stadium last night, with the self-proclaimed Special One enjoying what was a brilliant game of football between Manchester City and Everton. Now, the Manchester Evening News have revealed why our Portuguese boss was in attendance.
Fans were questioning why was Mourinho there. Unfortunately, it isn’t transfer related, nor was he there to scout Manchester City. Apparently, he was in attendance keeping an eye on Everton – who United take on in a few weeks time.

Mourinho is a born winner, and any little advantage he can get, he’ll grab with both hands. He would have been keeping a close eye on anything that he could exploit when the sides meet after the international break – and no doubt, the Portuguese coach will find something.
Make no mistake, Everton are a top team and on their day they have the capability to upset anyone – heck, just ask Manchester City, Koeman’s side were gutted at taking away a point from the Etihad Stadium on Monday night.
At the end of the day, the season is long. Yes, we have two wins on the board already but nobody is getting ahead of themselves just yet.
