Jose Mourinho eyeing up move for brilliant 23-year-old left-winger who’s available this summer: report

Manchester United and Jose Mourinho are weighing up a move for Paris Saint-Germain winger, Julian Draxler. That’s what The Mirror writes, as per The Sun. They write that the 23-year-old is available this summer, with the Ligue 1 side looking to trim their playing squad.

Apparently, the brilliantly gifted German has caught the attention of Mourinho, who is still looking to sign a wide player before the transfer window slams shut in around a fortnight’s time.

It comes as no secret that a left-winger has been on the agenda for quite some time, with a move for Ivan Perisic one that looked likely to happen at one point.

With the emergence of Draxler becoming available, this has to be a move of interest to the self-proclaimed Special One. The versatile attacker is supremely talented, who is arguably good enough to earn a place in the squad of any team in world football.

I like him, and he’d bring something different to the table. His biggest selling point is the fact that he can play in multiple positions, and that is a prospect that must excite the manager.

With time running out, Edward Woodward will have to act fast if he wants to get this deal over the line.
