Jose Mourinho facing FA investigation following referee comments

Manchester United’s Jose Mourinho could’ve just landed himself in a spot of bother with the Football Association, after comments he made about the appointment of Altrincham-born referee, Anthony Taylor. The referee came in for some slack after being chosen for the game due to the fact he resides just six miles from Old Trafford.

Now, the BBC reckon Jose could be in hot water after comments about Taylor, despite labelling him a ‘good referee’.

Jose lauded the praises of the ref, before adding:

“I feel that it will be difficult for him to have a very good performance.”

That’s due to everything going on at the moment, and with how upset Liverpool fans are, it’d only be natural for him to try to disprove that point in the game that takes place this evening.

Hopefully, that isn’t the case and Taylor just goes out there and does his job properly. On top of that, let’s hope United can take to the field and put in a match-winning performance and come back to the Theatre of Dreams with all three points.
