Jose Mourinho gives Man Utd fans an early bit of team news as star set to start

Manchester United Football Club turn their attentions to Europa League football tomorrow evening, in a game where the manager could potentially rest some stars ahead of the trip to Chelsea this coming Sunday. Ahead of the match, Jose has given us an early bit of team news.

The self-proclaimed Special One attended his pre-match press conference for the game alongside Luke Shaw, and then later confirmed the young man would be starting the match under the Old Trafford floodlights tomorrow.

‘I don’t want to give you the team, honestly. Sometimes I do, sometimes I give some tips, but this time Luke Shaw, he plays,’ said Mourinho.

‘I only bring the players [to the press conference] that are going to start. But he’s the only one I will tell you.’

It will be Luke Shaw’s first start since making a costly mistake away at Watford before the international break, and hopefully, he can go out there and get back to his brilliant best. This man is, without doubt, the long-term solution to the left-back problem, and tomorrow provides him with a good opportunity.

Although Daley Blind has done well there, you do feel that it isn’t his natural spot, and if Shaw can string a decent run of games together, he’ll work his way back into things pretty quickly.
