Jose Mourinho pulls out of first Old Trafford match this season – report

Jose Mourinho was announced as the new Manchester United manager last week, to replace Louis van Gaal in the Old Trafford hot-seat. The Portuguese coach is already making plans and transfer arrangements, and he must be extremely busy…

According to The Sun, Jose Mourinho has pulled out of his first match at Old Trafford since being appointed boss – this weekend’s Soccer Aid match, in which he was manager of the England side.

The English media outlet say that Mourinho has taken this decision to allow him more time to concentrate on Manchester United, which is obviously more important.

Mourinho obviously feels that there is plenty of work to do at Old Trafford before the new season gets underway, and he must bee extremely busy already.

This is exactly what you want to see from a man in charge of Manchester United, though. He simply has to put this first, because it really is a make or break season for the club.
