Jose Mourinho ready to break up dressing room by letting monumental star leave club

It certainly looks as though Wayne Rooney’s days as a Manchester United player are numbered, with the club captain in the absolute worst form of his life. Going forward, it could be in the best interests of all the club if he were to be sold, because he seems more of a hindrance than a help right now.

According to ESPN, Manchester United fans could be about to get their wish and Wayne Rooney could be shown the exit door when next summer comes around.

The report reckons that the 31-year-old no longer plays a primary role within the squad, and after the poor start to the season, the manager isn’t against getting rid of a player like Wayne Rooney to try and shake things up.

It truly is a real shame. Wayne Rooney has won absolutely everything there is to be won with Manchester United, and he will go down a legend whatever happens from here on out. For his sake, I just hope he manages to break Sir Bobby Charlton’s scoring record, and although it’s just a handful of goals, it looks a long way away right now.
