Jose Mourinho clearly isn’t hanging around during this transfer window, as the self-proclaimed Special One has already made three huge signings – and another couple could be on the way. Now, reports have emerged about another new face who could be en-route to Old Trafford.
This rumour comes from the Daily Mail, who say that Mourinho is keen on bringing in AS Monaco’s talented right-back, Fabinho.
Monaco are ready to let the 22-year-old leave France if the right offer comes in, and they are after a fee of roughly £25million to let the Brazilian leave.
Interest in the young right-back is thought to be high, with both Manchester City and Napoli keeping tabs on Fabinho too.
It does make you wonder what Jose Mourinho thinks of the current right-backs on offer, though, because we already have Matteo Darmian, Timothy Fosu-Mensah and Antonio Valencia. It makes you wonder if he really trusts any of the aforementioned trio if he is looking at bringing one in.
