Manchester United Football Club’s season is over. Jose Mourinho a flop? Not a chance. The man delivered two trophies, as well as giving us Champions League football to look forward to next season. Now, comes the transfer period, with the next two months set to be interesting…

It wasn’t that long ago when Antoine Griezmann fueled the fire about a potential move to the Theatre of Dreams, by claiming it was a ‘6 out of 10’ chance that he could join Manchester United.

Now, after the Europa League final victory, the self-proclaimed Special One was asked about whether Griezmann would be joining Manchester United, and whether the chance has increased because we can offer him top level European football.

“I do not want to talk about Griezmann because that would be disrespectful to his club, Atletico,” Mourinho told BeIn Sports, as per Sky Sports News.

This is exactly the answer you’d expect to hear from the consummate professional that is Mourinho. The manager will know who he wants to bring in and no doubt behind the scenes he will be working hard to make those moves happen.

It’s easier said than done though, and Edward Woodward will have a tough job on his hands because no doubt, Mourinho will have some truly huge names in mind when it comes to bringing in new faces.

Anyway, things are certainly going to be interesting so let’s see how this one plays out.
