Manchester United Football Club have had a torrid time with injuries recently, with Jose Mourinho being without several key players due to them spending time on the treatment table.Today, the self-proclaimed Special One has confirmed another bit of bad news.

The Metro say that Jose Mourinho was forced into sending Luke Shaw home early from training due to him feeling unwell. He has a fever and a bad throat, and Jose chose to send him home to keep the illness away from the rest of the squad as it is a contagious issue.

It’s a real shame for the 21-year-old. Jose clearly wasn’t happy with him after the defeat away at Watford, and you wouldn’t put it past our manager to bench him for a few weeks.

We all know just how talented Luke Shaw is though, and he is, without doubt, our best left-back on the books at the moment, so hopefully he gets back to his best soon.
