Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho turned down the biggest contract in the world to stay at Manchester United.

According to Spanish media outlet AS, translated by The Metro, the self-proclaimed Special One said no to a huge offer from Paris Saint-Germain, in order to extend his stay at Old Trafford.

This just shows his commitment to the cause as Red Devils boss and I get the impression that Mourinho won’t be going anywhere until he’s completely satisfied that his job is done.

So far, Mourinho has won two trophies as United boss and there’s a decent chance he could add to that with the FA Cup. Not a bad return so far, eh?

It would have been easy for him to turn down PSG, they’re up there amongst the biggest clubs in Europe, win Ligue 1 pretty much every season while also boasting a bottomless pit of money. Instead, he’s chosen the hard road, staying here in Manchester.

If he did leave, who on earth would you get as a replacement? The best shout I’ve seen is probably Mauricio Pochettino, but that’s not something that inspires…
