Manchester United have reportedly given Jose Mourinho the green light to take charge at Old Trafford this summer, and its all down to one reason. The Sunday World say that the self-proclaimed Special One wants to give Ryan Giggs a key role on the coaching staff. Gary Neville is also being considered.
Despite that, The Sunday World go on to say that Giggs wants a management job of his own rather than continuing on as an assistant, but the prospect of working with Jose Mourinho might just be too hard to turn down.
Change is something that is definitely needed upon Old Trafford at the moment, despite the fact that the club are still in the run-in for a place in the top four.
If there is anyone who can turn the clubs fortunes around, its Jose Mourinho. He has plenty of Premier League experience under his belt, and lets be honest, he has been craving the Manchester United job for years. He may not be everyones cup of tea, but he’s a winner – and thats exactly whats required.
