Jose Mourinho’s reasoning behind snubbing Mark Hughes handshake revealed: report

As we all witnessed yesterday, Manchester United dropped their first points of the season away at Stoke City. Jose Mourinho’s men drew 2-2 with The Potters, in a game that always looked pretty level throughout. In the end, a point was a fair result.

However, after the match, it was noticeable that Mourinho didn’t shake hand with his opposite number Mark Hughes, despite going to all of Hughes’ backroom staff and giving them a handshake.

The Guardian have revealed why. Apparently, during an argument that occurred on the sideline, Hughes told Mourinho to ‘f**k off’, whilst also telling the fourth official to send the United manager to the stands.

What an absolute moron Hughes is. This isn’t the first time he’s had spats with opposing managers on the touchline and he’s never happy when things aren’t going his way.

It just isn’t very classy when you’re trying to get your opposite number in trouble, whilst in the heat of battle. I’ve never liked Hughes since he stopped playing and with each passing season, my hatred for him seems to grow. He just doesn’t have much class and it honestly doesn’t surprise me in the slightest.
