Manchester United Football Club are in good form recently with Jose Mourinho getting a huge result over his former employers at the weekend. The Red Devils won 2-0 in supremely convincing fashion, and it certainly bodes well going forward.
The game as a whole was an exciting one, and evidently, the injured Juan Mata also thought that, too. Sadly he had to watch on from the stands as he has an ongoing injury problem that he is dealing with.
In his weekly blog, everybody’s favourite Spaniard has provided us with an update on that aforementioned injury, whilst taking the time to thank the fines for their messages of support.
“As I said, I went to Old Trafford to see the game. You feel like you want to jump onto the pitch and help the team, but I must be patient and keep training to be back as soon as possible. I’m feeling better every day and your messages of support do help a lot. I can’t stop thanking you!” Juan Mata wrote on his blog.
It’s always great when the players connect to fans, and Mata’s blog really is an excellent way to keep us in the loop with what is happening at times like this. Thankfully, he’s feeling better and is well on the road to recovery.
We’ve really missed his creativity at times, and he is just one of those players that makes everyone else around him better. Also, let’s not forget that his ten goals puts him second only to Zlatan Ibrahimovic in the scoring charts, which further adds to just how important of a player he has been for us this year.
