Jude Bellingham is a name that us Manchester United fans are becoming increasingly familiar with. The youngster, who currently plies his trade for Birmingham City, is seeing his stock rise rapidly.
The last story we covered on the brewing saga came from SportBild, who claimed that the teenager will sign for Borussia Dortmund. However, nothing has been confirmed in that regard and it’s all gone pretty quiet over the last week; until now…
Over the weekend, The Mirror ran an exclusive in regards to Jude Bellingham. In their byline, it is claimed that four bids for the 16-year-old have been accepted to date – with United and Dortmund pushing the hardest.
What’s interesting is that in the first line of the story, Neil Moxley adds that the midfielder will sign for United for the love – not money. Apparently, there’s a better offer on the table from Dortmund at this point in time.
The Bundesliga giants are ‘determined’ to win the race to sign Bellingham and they’re pulling out all the stops. However, as things stand, this report tells us that the Old Trafford club are currently leading the charge.
Look, I’m not going to pretend I know all about Bellingham, nor have I been following his career for years. What I will say is that, for the money involved, Bellingham must be an incredibly gifted young man. These are two of the best clubs in the world at developing and nurturing young talent and they’re fighting hard to win his signature. He must be pretty good, right…?
