Before our game against Newcastle, it was revealed that Shinji Kagawa is back training with his team-mates. Today, Sir Alex said that he expects the Japan international to start against West Brom this Saturday.
“I’m glad Kagawa is fully back. He scored great goals in the training, I think he should be fit to play our next game against West Brom.”
This is welcome news, especially considering the fact that Wayne Rooney has been ruled out for the next 3 weeks with a knee injury. Hopefully, this means that Kagawa gets to play in his preferred position- in the hole behind the striker- and finally starts showing the promise he was signed for.
