Manchester United decided to loan Adnan Januzaj out to Sunderland for the season, as it seems Jose Mourinho didn’t fancy using him in the first-team during this term, as he already had plenty of options in wide areas. It gave the Belgian a chance to reunite with former boss, David Moyes.
Cast your mind back to Januzaj’s debut under the aforementioned Scot, when he scored two stunning goals to turn things around and give Manchester United all three points.
Since then it has gone rapidly downhill for the 21-year-old, and a few managers have deemed him not good enough. This season is a real test of his mental strength as well as his ability, and he simply has to set the Premier League alight if he is to have any chance to make it at United.
Today saw Moyes give him his first start at Sunderland, and Januzaj definitely made a bright start to life at the Stadium of Light, despite not getting on the score sheet.
United fans were impressed with their loanee, and expressed their happiness over social media. We’ve compiled some of their tweets.

The way Januzaj uses the opponent's body to glide past them is sooo wavey. Doesn't even accelerate past you

Think Adnan Januzaj's got class, but they need more in the middle. McNair and Pienaar not good enough at this level #safc

Januzaj needs way more freedom at Sunderland, hopefully with a bit of time, he'll start scoring/assisting for them.

januzaj is such an unfinished product. I know it's early days at a new club but you can see why he was sent on loan
