Louis van Gaal confirms injury to star, but admits it isn’t serious

Adnan Januzaj’s season has certainly been one to forget, with very little game time for Manchester United whatsoever. Earlier on in the campaign he took part in a failed loan move to Borussia Dortmund which didn’t provide him with all that much match experience either.

Now the Belgian has suffered another setback as Louis van Gaal has confirmed the talented attacker has picked up a hamstring injury, but thankfully it isn’t thought to be all that serious.

It must be extremely frustrating for the 21-year old, especially after the way he burst onto the scene a couple of years ago under David Moyes. However the two years since then have certainly been a reality check for Januzaj, especially as it doesn’t look like Louis van Gaal is all that keen on him as a player.

Honestly, if the Iron Tulip remains in charge going into next season, I wouldn’t be surprised if he decided to sell Adnan Januzaj when the transfer window opens this June.
