Louis van Gaal confirms starlet has left Manchester United on loan

Manchester United Football Club had an abundance of top quality strikers at the club at the end of last season, but Louis van Gaal has continued his major overhaul by selling both Javier Hernandez and Robin van Persie, as well as letting Radamel Falcao go.

It looks as though our attacking options are about to get thinner still, with Louis van Gaal sanctioning a move to allow James Wilson to go on loan to a Championship side.

The Iron Tulip broke the news in a question and answer session with fans late last night.

My initial reaction was one of disappointment, but the fact that we have a release clause in the contract to bring him back to Old Trafford at anytime is important. If Manchester United were to undergo an injury crisis James Wilson can come back to the club at anytime, but if no major injuries are suffered then Wilson can get regular game time in the Championship.
