Louis van Gaal has his say on whether Marcus Rashford should go to the Euro’s this summer

Manchester United have once again given youngsters plenty of chances to sign this season, with Louis van Gaal putting faith in the excellent youth setup at Old Trafford. One starlet who has taken his chance is Marcus Rashford.

The 18-year old striker has been in such scintillating form that he has been mentioned to be in with a late shout to make Roy Hodgson’s England squad for the European Championships.

Louis van Gaal has had his say on whether Rashford should make it, and he has been diplomatic about it all.

“That you have to ask to other people, not to me. I don’t want to interfere.” Louis van Gaal said.

Personally I reckon it will come too soon for Rashford, especially given the form of England’s other strikers like Jamie Vardy and Harry Kane. However he could well get his chance in the not too distant future if he keeps banging in the goals for Manchester United.
