Louis van Gaal hits back at Angel di Maria after Argentinian takes swipe at United

during the Barclays Premier League match between Manchester United and Queens Park Rangers at Old Trafford on September 14, 2014 in Manchester, England.

Manchester United’s former winger Angel di Maria took a massive swipe at the Old Trafford club yesterday, claiming that his teammates weren’t good enough to win anything and they didn’t allow him to settle. Now Louis van Gaal has responded to the 28-year old.

“He is one of the players who has no self-criticism. It is always the fault of the manager.” Louis van Gaal said.

At the end of the day, as soon as life got tough in Manchester, Angel di Maria wimped out at the first possible opportunity and left for pastures new.

Both parties are partially at fault for the way he left Old Trafford and how his first season went, but why on earth did he feel the need to take a swipe at United yesterday? It was pointless, and he needs to move on and forget about Manchester United.
