Louis van Gaal reacts brilliantly to Marcus Rashford wonderstrike

Manchester United Football Club secured a spot in a Wembley semi-final last night, with Louis van Gaal’s side managing to hang on to a 2-1 lead as West Ham put some late pressure on. The moment of the match was without doubt Marcus Rashford’s superb goal to break the deadlock.

After the game Louis van Gaal met the media and had his say on the wonder goal by the 18-year old striker.

‘I was behind him on the bench, I saw his view and the gap and the corner and I shouted “Shoot!” Louis van Gaal joked.

It was a fantastic piece of individual brilliance from Rashford, who has been outstanding to watch since his emergence within the first-team. Hopefully this is the start of something special for him at Manchester United, especially when you consider that he is a Mancunian who is United through and through.
