Louis van Gaal reveals his Player of the Year nomination

Manchester United’s Player of the Year winners are set to be announced over the next couple of hours, but before then we’re treated to the glitz and glamour of the black-tie event, along with a few words from some players and obviously the manager.

Louis van Gaal tried his best to respond to a question about his Player of the Year, but the reporter managed to get some information out of him eventually.

When quizzed about his Player of the Year, the boss responded:

“I think David de Gea, I have observed him, I have analysed him and I have seen his progress.” Van Gaal said.

David de Gea has been sensational from game one this year. He has been the heartbeat of that United back five all season-long, and if he wins it this time around it’ll be two in a row for the Spaniard.

Don’t agree with Louis? Who would you have voted for? Let us know your thoughts in the comment box below.
