Manchester United Football Club are having a torrid time of things in terms of injuries at the moment, and Louis van Gaal has hinted that he could well be trying to bring in a new full-back this January; although he admitted it may be tough.
“The difficulty is that we ask for a level and the clubs do not want to sell in this period and that is our problem.” Van Gaal began. “Valencia, Shaw, Rojo, Young are injured. We have to look for reinforcements. But the clubs don’t want to sell.”
Left-back has certainly become a real problem since Luke Shaw went down with a serious injury that all-but ended his season. The full-backs have been tumbling like flies all year, and Ashley Young is the latest in a long-line of serve injuries in that area of the field.
As Louis van Gaal says, its notoriously difficult to bring in players in the middle of the season, unless you pay way over the odds.
