Manchester United boss Louis Van Gaal has had a change of heart regarding Javier Hernandez’s future at Old Trafford after admitting that he will now give the Mexican a chance to prove himself after the departure of Van Persie.
ESPN are reporting that West Ham are said to have made an enquiry for the striker only to be told Hernandez, 27, is not for sale. With the departure of Van Persie and Falcao United are in the market for a new striker but could set to be content with Rooney, Wilson and Hernandez.
Hernandez has only made 2 appearances for Van Gaal after being loaned out to Real Madrid last season. Madrid decided not to make his loan move permanent and he arrived back at United expecting to be shipped out again with West Ham, Napoli and Roma all interested. But a change of heart from LVG could see fan favourite Hernandez grace the Old Trafford pitch once more.
